Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of H&S compliance legislation.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and Environmental Management.
  • Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of safety performance in line with personal, team and functional goals.
  • Support accident/incident investigations and reports.
  • Maintain records required for ISO14001 and third party audits.
  • Demonstrate a regular presence on the shop floor to promote safe working practices.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication
IT literate, proficient in MS Office
Methodical, ordered and highly organised
Excellent communication and engagement skills
Results focused, with ability to work on own initiative

Education

GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English
NEBOSH General Certificate or higher
Technician (or higher) member of IOSH
