Job summary

A prominent staffing agency is seeking a Health & Safety Officer for a hybrid role in Atherstone at a rate of £21.65 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping up with health and safety legislation, developing and monitoring policies, and providing advice to management and staff. Health & Safety Officer (Hybrid) needed in Atherstone, £21.65ph

Responsibilities
  • Keep up to date with health and safety legislation, technology and any development that may affect the operations.
  • Develop, implement and monitor corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice to Management Team, Directors and individual staff on all matters related to Health and Safety and ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Provide designated and proactive health and safety advice and support to the housing maintenance and management services, including advice about building and tenant safety and responding to residents enquiries about compliance and health and safety requirements about their tenancies.
  • Work with managers to identify hazards, assess risks and develop safe systems of work.
  • Manage the risk assessment process and undertake, where appropriate, complex or specialised risk assessments.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
