A leading employment services company in Tamworth is seeking a candidate to oversee health and safety compliance. The role involves planning risk assessments and developing HSE systems. Candidates must have a NEBOSH qualification and strong UK health and safety knowledge. The position offers 20 hours per week, a pay rate of £18.00 - £21.00 per hour, and benefits including weekly pay and 28 days annual leave.
20 hours per week
Monday to Friday (flexible working pattern - open to discussion for the right candidate)
£18.00 - £21.00 per hour, depending on experience
Immediate start available
Plan and ensure all risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place and maintained
Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) systems in line with current legislation
Oversee day-to-day compliance across office and workshop environments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including:
Health & Safety files
Fire Safety
DSEAR
RIDDOR
COSHH
Risk registers
Plan and arrange site maintenance and safety inspections
Deliver health & safety training and guidance to staff and site contractors
Oversee health surveillance for engineers and paint shop employees
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent (including Fire Safety)
Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
Up-to-date knowledge and practical application of HSE best practice
Ability to work independently and confidently manage compliance
