A leading dairy processing company in Newtownards is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety standards and promote a zero-harm culture. The role includes developing safety management plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should have a 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety, relevant NEBOSH certification, and substantial experience in site health and safety management.

Reporting to our Site General Manager our new Health & Safety Manager will lead all Health & Safety standards across our Newtownards site in line with our business’s strategic objective of “Looking after the Safety of Ourselves and Others”.
This rewarding opportunity will lead the promotion of a zero-harm culture where safety is the shared responsibility of everyone, working together with the engagement of people at the centre of safety management plans.
The successful applicant will reinforce our safety culture by ensuring each site has user-relevant and up-to-date risk assessments and safety audits and will lead the site’s compliance to relevant Health & Safety regulations.
This key role is responsible for instigating and leading the adoption of best practice in all aspects of health and safety across our sites and will be further responsible for incident investigation, management of action plans and accurate weekly and monthly reporting also.
