Job summary

A forward-thinking organisation in Liverpool seeks a Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability & Compliance Co-ordinator. Responsibilities include supporting ISO implementations and ensuring health & safety compliance. The ideal candidate has strong ISO knowledge and is IT literate. Competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 with a flexible/hybrid work environment. This is a permanent role.

Qualifications

  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Live in or near Liverpool.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of ISO 14001 and 45001 systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.
  • Assist with audits for FSC, FISP, Eco Vadis and packaging compliance.
  • Collate and analyse CO₂ data to support Net Zero KPIs.
  • Produce reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Work with sales and public sector teams for CSR and sustainability data.
  • Support engagement with external bodies and auditors.
  • Report directly to the HSES Manager.

Skills

Understanding of ISO standards and document control systems
Knowledge of sustainability and CSR frameworks
Experience with supply chain traceability
Highly IT literate - especially Microsoft Excel and Word

Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability & Compliance Co-ordinator

Location: Liverpool | Reference: BY(phone number removed) | Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of ISO 14001 and 45001 systems
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation (RIDDOR, LOLER, COSHH)
  • Assist with audits for FSC, FISP, Eco Vadis and packaging compliance (PPT)
  • Collate and analyse CO₂ data (Scope 1-3) to support Net Zero KPIs
  • Produce clear and concise reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the sales and public sector teams to provide CSR and sustainability data
  • Support engagement with external bodies, auditors, suppliers, and regulators
  • Reporting directly to the HSES Manager

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and document control systems
  • Knowledge of sustainability, net zero, and CSR frameworks
  • Experience with supply chain traceability (e.g. FSC, fabric/wood material compliance)
  • Highly IT literate - especially with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • A full right to work in the UK
  • Live in or near Liverpool
  • Sustainability-related qualifications or training would be an advantage
