Job description

This well-established, multi-disciplined company provides a host of various professional services to clients nationwide. Due to current business requirements, they are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Swindon area. Applications from Chippenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Oxford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing/asbestos/legionella background.
  • Possess the relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NEBOSH L5 and P402 certificates – Health & Safety qualifications are essential.
  • Experience working within the specified industries e.g. asbestos, legionella and fire would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Interested in candidates with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.
Main Responsibilities
  • Attend sites to carry out inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.
  • Undertake legionella risk assessments.
  • Carry out asbestos re‑inspection surveys.
  • Health & Safety, Staff and Compliance audits.
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients.
  • Produce comprehensive Health & Safety and Environmental reports.
  • Conduct Safety Training courses.
  • Nationwide travel.
