Overview

Our client is a well-regarded health and safety consultancy working across the environmental sector delivering various professional services to clients nationwide. Due to current business requirements, they are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to work on a variety of contracts in and around the Croydon area. Applications from Epsom, Mitcham, Orpington, Bromley and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Location

Based in the Croydon area with nationwide travel.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing/asbestos/legionella background
  • Relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NEBOSH L5 and P402 certificates – Health & Safety qualifications are essential
  • Experience working within the specified industries e.g. asbestos, legionella and fire would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package
Main Responsibilities
  • Attend sites to carry out inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams
  • Undertake legionella risk assessments
  • Carry out asbestos re‑inspection surveys
  • Health & Safety, Staff and Compliance audits
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients
  • Produce comprehensive Health & Safety and Environmental reports
  • Conduct Safety Training courses
  • Nationwide travel
