DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: Provides technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader. Assists in the analysis, review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

We are looking for a talented Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Technician to join our team in (Henderson, CO).

Will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide technical support on health, safety, and environmental matters to production and site personnel under guidance of the site HSE leader.
  • Assist in the analysis, review, and sustainability of Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Support hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in HSE audits, inspections, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support environmental management and wellness initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strong knowledge of HSE fundamentals, risk assessment, and incident investigation with root cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret and apply HSE management systems and international standards within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with HSE software and Microsoft applications; professional certifications (GSP, ASP, CSP) preferred or in progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Obtain or working towards professional certification (GSP, ASP, CSP) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills needed with ability to interact within all levels of the Organization (local and Corporate) and external stakeholders with a focus on customer service.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, environmental regulations and safety protocols, proficient in Microsoft applications and HSE Software.
  • Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, multi-task, take ownership and drive a project/task effectively and efficiently.
Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

A two year University degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related field preferred.

Experience

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in health, safety and environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and may include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
