We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading industrial processing organisation at their site in Maidstone. Working within an established UK SHEQ structure, you will support operational teams, ensure compliance with legislation, and help maintain a strong, positive safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the delivery of Group Health & Safety standards, empowering site teams to work safely and confidently.
  • Lead meaningful risk assessments that drive practical, effective safety improvements across operations.
  • Take ownership of incident and near-miss investigations, helping the site learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
  • Carry out proactive inspections and audits, identifying opportunities to enhance safety performance and culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors, providing clear guidance that shapes safe, compliant working practices.
About You
  • Experience in Health & Safety within manufacturing, waste, construction, logistics, industrial processing, or similar high-risk environments.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential; IOSH membership desirable.
  • Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence and support at all levels.
