A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to work on a major highways junction improvement project at the M3 Junction 9 based in Hook, Hampshire. Reporting to a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with legislative, corporate and other requirements in relation to Health and Safety as well as assisting in the co-ordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the Safety Management Systems (SMS) for the business.

Health & Safety Advisor Specification

• 3+ years experience health and safety experience in construction or civil engineering
• Need to have demonstrable "Boots on the ground" Construction experience
• NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Construction Safety and Health or equivalent.
• CSCS cardholder
• An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 45001:2018
• A working knowledge of health & safety legislation
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levels
• Self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
• Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.

Between £48,000 - £53,000 per annum dependant on experience plus car / allowance and package
