Job summary

A prominent health organisation in North Wales is looking for a District Nurse to assist registered nurses in delivering care to patients in the community. The successful candidate will support a dedicated nursing team and may work independently or as part of a team. Enthusiasm for modernising healthcare services is essential. Candidates who are Welsh speaking are desirable, but English speakers are equally welcome. Join this team to make a significant impact in patient care.

Job description

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.

Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.

An opportunity has occurred to join the highly motivated District Nursing Service in the Denbighshire locality. The role will involve the successful candidate supporting the district nursing team to care for those living in the community who require nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan.
  • Carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.
Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic with an awareness of and committed to the modernisation of the service.
  • Able to work well within a team and also alone.
  • Capable of travelling between patients' homes both within towns and rural areas in a timely manner.
  • Welsh speaking is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
