A healthcare organization in the UK is looking for a Health Care Assistant to support urgent response services for residents. You will assist patients with daily activities and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a UK driving license, and the ability to work using technology-enabled care. We have an exciting opportunity within our Urgent Response Team (URT), a multidisciplinary team delivering urgent response services to Salford residents. This role is expanding to include Hospital and Care at Home (H&C@H) virtual wards, working as part of a team using technology and new ways of working to provide safe alternatives to hospital admission and to support earlier discharge from hospital. This role supports NHS priorities and aims to improve the patient experience in Salford.
Changes to UK immigration policy introduce a minimum salary threshold for Health and Care Worker visa applications. As of 9 April 2025, the threshold is £25,000 per year. For new NHS staff, the starting salary under Agenda for Change is at least £24,625 (Band 3, minimum from 1 April 2025).
