Job Overview

Health Care Assistant – Outpatient at Ramsay Health Care UK. Hours are flexible and the role is based at Cwmbran. The pay rate starts at £12.50+ (PAYE – not via umbrella) and holiday pay is separate from the hourly rate. The primary responsibility is to provide support and care to patients in the outpatient department, ensuring individualized attention and contributing to high‑quality clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Your role will include: providing support and care to patients; assisting in patient assessments, treatments and monitoring; preparing and maintaining a clean, safe environment; supporting nursing staff and other health professionals in delivering the patient care plan; and communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable to changing environments

Working Conditions

Contract: Full Time (36 hours per week). Working pattern: days, nights, weekends. Applicants must live within a commutable distance to Malvern, Worcestershire.
