Our client is a well‑established asbestos company who specialise in asbestos and environmental disciplines, and they are now looking to employ an experienced and reliable Health and Safety Consultant based in the Leeds area. Consideration will be given to applications from Huddersfield, Doncaster, Bradford, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • The applicant will come from a technical/consultancy/management/asbestos/legionella background.
  • Must possess the NEBOSH/IOSH certificates/Health & Safety qualifications.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office package.
  • A strong working knowledge of the relevant Health & Safety legislation.
Responsibilities:
  • Attending sites to undertake various audits/inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.
  • Undertaking Health & Safety risk assessments, auditing staff on site and dealing with all aspects of Health & Safety.
  • Providing technical support to the company’s large portfolio of clients.
  • Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.
  • Writing comprehensive Auditing, Health & Safety, and environmental reports.
  • Conducting Safety Training courses.
