A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner in Stafford to support management teams and drive the Safety Management System. Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 5 / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice (or equivalent/higher) with evidence of CPD.
  • CMIOSH / Graduate IOSH status.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Overview

Health & Safety Business Partner Required Stafford (with regular travel across Staffordshire & Shropshire + hybrid working)

£47,662.50 per annum + Essential Car User Allowance

37 hours per week | Fixed term - 12 months

Responsibilities
  • Supporting management teams with all aspects of Health & Safety.
  • Driving forward our Safety Management System.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and enforcement bodies.
  • Advising on and managing risks including fire, legionella and asbestos.
  • Leading on the development and implementation of H&S improvements at both strategic and operational level.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 5 / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice (or equivalent/higher) with evidence of CPD.
  • CMIOSH / Graduate IOSH status.
  • Experience in a high-risk sector such as construction or housing.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills - able to engage persuasively at all levels.
  • Proven track record of driving improvements in health and safety performance.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire is required).
