A leading healthcare provider in York is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Headache to support the Neurology/Headache Team. This role involves managing caseloads, providing specialised treatments, and working closely with medical professionals. The successful candidate will require a Registered Nurse qualification and experience at Band 6 level, complemented by essential leadership and organisational skills. The Neurology/Headache Team has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Headache. This role would be suitable for a candidate who has an interest or some experience in neurology with relevant knowledge and who is keen to develop their skills in this area. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the current Advanced Headache Nurse Specialist and Consultant Neurologists to develop competencies in this highly specialised role. This is a highly satisfying, but demanding role and it is essential that candidates are motivated, proactive, dedicated and willing to learn.
The role will consist of working within the Neurology/Headache team based at York Teaching Hospital. The post holder will work closely with the nursing and medical teams.
