Head Registered Veterinary Nurse – Greenford – £35,000 – £40,000 Annually

What you will do:

• Direct the day-to-day running of our clinical team, ensuring smooth operations throughout the practice
• Provide guidance and support to our nurse and VCA team, helping them develop their skills and careers
• Engage in hands-on nursing care, from patient care and administering medication to monitoring anaesthesia
• Act as a role model for the team, optimising workflow and maintaining high standards of animal care
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for both our team and our furry patients

Requirements of the Registered Veterinary Nurse:

• Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing, such as a Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing
• Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or an equivalent governing body
• Relevant clinical experience in a veterinary practice or hospital is essential
• Proficiency in general nursing duties, including patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia
• Experience handling various animal species, whether small animals, exotics, or large animals
• Strong general nursing skills with excellent customer service
