Job description

Head of Specialist Resource Provision – Vision Impairment. Pay: MPR/UPR + TLR + SEND allowance. Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Start Date: ASAP.

Role: Head of Department reporting to a Member of SLT. Seeking a passionate, experienced Qualified Teacher of Vision Impairment (QTVI) or strong SEN skills, willing to undertake QTVI qualification if not yet qualified.

Key responsibilities and attributes:

  • Possibility of 1-year relocation assistance (R&R) to aid moving to the area for the right candidate.
  • Candidates with substantial SEND experience who are willing to qualify for QTVI will be considered.
  • Woking High School is a high achieving Academy with a strong team committed to student development. Ofsted (April 2025) judged the school good, noting its lively, welcoming environment and high expectations.
