Head of Sound and Vision job at British Library

The Head of Sound and Vision leads the staff of UK’s national sound archive, one of the greatest collections of sound recordings in the world.

They oversee the Save our Sounds programme to save the nation’s current and future sound heritage, including the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund; and show leadership across the Library and externally across the audiovisual archives profession.
