A leading sustainable energy provider in the UK seeks a Head of Regulation Flexible Generation to ensure effective representation in policy matters. With at least ten years in the energy sector, the successful candidate will engage with government officials, develop strategies in collaboration with stakeholders, and provide senior management briefings. This is a senior role reporting to ENGIE’s UK Director of Regulation Public Affairs ESG & CSR. You will work closely with senior colleagues in ENGIE’s pumped hydro BESS and renewables businesses including Managing Directors. You will also work closely with senior colleagues across Supply & Energy Management and Networks businesses to understand and represent ENGIE’s interests as a whole.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that relevant future regulatory policies are designed in a way that allows ENGIE to continue to invest with confidence and operate efficiently. We are looking for someone who has at least ten years relevant experience ideally in the energy sector. Relevant experience may include working for a regulator or regulated company.
