Head of Projects (M&E/ Facilities)

£75,000 - £85,000 + Progression + Benefits + Bonus

Dartford

Are you an experienced Projects Leader with a background in M & E or similar? Are you looking for a dynamic role where you can lead a growing team, drive project performance, and contribute to the successful delivery of technical projects from tender through to completion?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established organisation with over 30 years' experience delivering facilities and technical maintenance services across some of London's most prominent buildings, where staff development and training are central to the company's growth.

In this senior and influential role, you'll lead and motivate the team, oversee financial performance, support business development, and ensure all projects meet both company and client standards. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape the ongoing growth of the Projects function. The role is based in the office three days per week, with site visits across London and the Home Counties, alongside hybrid working flexibility.

This would suit an experienced Project Manager or Projects Lead looking with strong commercial knowledge, engineering understanding, and a proven ability to deliver M&E projects between £100K-£1.5m.

The Role

• Lead, coach, and support the Projects team, ensuring effective staffing and strong performance.
• Manage financial delivery, including budgets, forecasts, and profitable project execution within agreed timeframes.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, supporting business development and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Oversee project governance, including risk management, subcontractor control, QSHE compliance, and delivery of technically sound, sustainable solutions.
• Office based 3 days a week with Hybrid flexibility.

• Commutable to Dartford.
