Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major residential schemes from inception to completion.
• Provide commercial and contractual leadership, including variations and final accounts.
• Oversee procurement of consultants and contractors in line with legislation and best practice.
• Ensure robust health, safety and compliance standards.
• Implement best‑practice project management systems and processes.
• Manage and develop a high-performing project management team.
• Report progress, risks and performance to the Executive Team and Board.
• Represent the organisation with key stakeholders, partners and funding bodies.

Education

Degree qualified with professional membership (e.g. RICS, CIOB, ICE, APM)

Head of Projects

Location: Bath (Hybrid working)

An established and growing residential development group is seeking to appoint a Head of Projects to join its Senior Leadership Team. This is a key strategic role responsible for leading the successful delivery of a major housing programme, including high-value residential developments of up to £50m.

The organisation has an ambitious development pipeline of approximately 1,300 homes across the South West over the next five years and is looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in delivering high‑quality residential projects.

The Role

You will lead all aspects of project and commercial management across major developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee procurement, manage consultants and contractors, control commercial risk, and advise the Executive Team and Board.
