Job description
About DROOL

DROOL is a fast-growing e-commerce startup that has become one of the world’s leading platforms for contemporary art prints. Over the last 3 years we have seen exceptional year-on-year profitable revenue growth, have been featured in leading publications (GQ, Architectural Digest, Vogue), and have amassed a ‘cult’ following with 1M+ IG followers along the way. Our growth is supported by the backing of a US VC firm with considerable domain expertise scaling startups like Ruggable, Dr Squatch and Fabletics into e-commerce powerhouses.

Job Summary

We are looking for a commercially minded Head of Product to own our catalogue and physical product strategy end-to-end. You’ll build the strategy, systems, and processes that determine what we bring to market, how we grow our supply, and how we reach new audiences through category expansion and exclusive IP.

Your remit will cover analysing merchandising trends to shape the catalogue, identifying and converting high potential artists into DROOL partners, structuring artist agreements (incl. IP), determining, and finding creative ways to leverage both physical and digital product experiences to hit ambitious growth and margin targets.

If you love combining data, taste and execution, and get energy from building and executing a product strategy to be used as an expansion engine, with direct impact on revenue, defensibility, and long-term brand value, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the long-term strategy for DROOL’s artwork supply and catalogue architecture
  • Build and execute a data-driven portfolio strategy that balances performance, trend forecasting, margin optimisation, and brand differentiation
  • Identify and convert pipeline of new artists to support catalogue expansion, reach new audiences and drive higher repeat purchase
  • Determine and test opportunities to use both digital and physical products to unlock new growth (e.g., bundling, limited editions, new framing offers etc.)

Merchandising

  • Leverage data and analytics to determine key merchandising decisions across owned and paid channels (e.g., packaging, on-site merchandising, product selection to be featured across marketing channels, etc.) to increase AOV, conversion and repeat purchase

Commercial Ownership

  • Structure artist and/or partnership deals that maximise long-term commercial value and margin
  • Lead strategy on IP acquisition, licensing structures, exclusivity, and rights managemen
  • 3+ years in management consulting or similar strategy roles
  • Strong problem solving and quantitative skills
  • Organized and delivery focused with excellent prioritization
  • Clear communicator who can influence across teams and levels
  • Learns fast in new domains and converts analysis into action
  • Ambitious, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Organised and delivery focused, with excellent prioritisation and project mgmt. skills
  • Competitive salary
  • Share options in a high-growth profitable start-up
  • Flexible working (3 office days per week in Shoreditch, London)
  • 25 days holiday + your birthday + a duvet day + bank holidays
  • Work a week from abroad
  • Monthly health & wellness budget (for fitness class, gym, meditation, therapy)
  • Company retreat: trip once a year
  • Learning budget: for courses, books etc
  • 60-75% employee discount for you + friends & family
