A major London Design & Build specialist is searching for a Head of Pre‑Construction to take full ownership of the entire front‑end project lifecycle. This is a senior, office‑based leadership post reporting directly to the MD, high influence, high visibility, and critical to how the business wins and delivers work.

The Role

You will oversee the full pre‑construction phase, acting as the driving force between design and delivery. Expect to:

• Lead tender strategy and bid quality
• Shape early‑stage design, technical solutions and feasibility
• Produce commercially sharp estimates and cost plans
• De‑risk and refine proposals for smooth handover to delivery
• Elevate standards across design, estimating, technical and surveying functions

Projects: High‑end commercial office fit‑outs, premium retail environments and education schemes—design‑led, detail‑focused and fast‑moving.
