A reputable healthcare organization in East London is seeking a Head of Medical Education and Medical Staffing for a maternity cover. Provide strategic leadership for all Medical Education and Medical Staffing functions across the Trust.
Ensure collaborative working between administrative teams, clinical supervisors, educational leads, and directors.
Support the development of medical HR services and education programmes, interpreting and implementing national policy and legislation.
Oversee postgraduate and undergraduate medical training programmes, ensuring compliance with Health Education England contracts and delivery of educational targets.
Manage financial responsibilities within the People and Culture budget, including education contracts and business planning.
Maintain and develop Trust-wide medical education databases and assurance frameworks.
Guide and oversee the implementation of the Patchwork e-rostering system as part of the ELFT People and Culture Transformation Programme, working collaboratively across GFGT, Senior Medical Staffing, Corporate colleagues, and directorates to embed sustainable workforce solutions.
Oversee the requirements and implementation of the NHSE Resident Doctors 10-Point Plan and NHSE core job planning requirement, ensuring compliance with national workforce priorities and supporting effective medical workforce deployment across the Trust.
