The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead and scale Jewells’ brand presence across every channel. Based at our London Support Centre, you’ll own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution—from advertising and campaigns to cultural activations—with a laser focus on delivering measurable results.
You’ll directly manage a team, driving collaboration with the wider business to maximise revenue across stores, e-commerce, and social media. This role is as strategic as it is hands-on: you’ll shape the big picture while getting into the detail of shoots, partnerships, and campaign execution.
Ideal for someone who has built (or rebuilt) marketing functions in fast-paced retail environments — fashion, jewellery, beauty or lifestyle — and knows how to turn brand energy into commercial growth.
What You’ll Own
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Lead, evolve, and deliver Jewells’ marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Build and execute seasonal campaign calendars aligned to business and revenue goals.
- Own marketing performance reporting, with a sharp focus on ROI, customer acquisition, and retention.
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and inspire the Content Manager and Brand & Marketing Manager, ensuring the team delivers at pace and to a high creative and commercial standard.
- Oversee influencer, partnerships, CRM/email, and paid digital activity through effective delegation and collaboration.
- Build a strong team culture of accountability, creativity, and speed-to-market.
- Partner closely with the Head of E-commerce and Retail teams to ensure campaigns drive both online and in-store revenue.
Channel & Campaign Management
- Oversee all social platforms (organic + paid) to ensure Jewells shows up consistently, culturally, and with cut-through.
- Guide influencer and partnership activity, balancing brand awareness with performance.
- Shape our CRM and retention approach—from lifecycle marketing to customer journeys.
- Own the creative direction and organisation of shoots, events, and activations, ensuring campaigns feel fresh and commercially impactful.
Brand Building
- Position Jewells as the destination for accessible, premium-look jewellery.
- Drive cultural relevance through collaborations, events, activations, and standout content.
- Push creative storytelling across every touchpoint, from TikToks to billboards.
- Champion consistency and elevation in how Jewells shows up — both online and in-store.
About You
- Experience: 6+ years in marketing with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow a marketing team (content, brand, social, partnerships).
- Commercial Edge: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth in DTC or omnichannel retail.
- Strategic + Hands-On: Comfortable switching between big-picture brand building and executional detail.
- Digital Expertise: Strong knowledge of social, CRM, paid performance marketing, and influencer/partnership strategy.
- Creative Vision: Strong sense of cultural trends and storytelling; capable of creating campaigns that resonate.
- Collaborative: Thrives working cross-functionally with e-commerce, retail, and product teams.
