Job description

Head of Marine for North America, joining not only one of the industry7s most favourite marine insurance brokers in London, but a firm that has recently secured investment to grow 10x its current size, creating a real opportunity to join.

You will have access to the tools and investment behind you to achieve success, with a structure that supports performance without the immediate ROI pressures sometimes associated with private equity investors.

There is already an established marine team supporting brokers across Europe, Asia, Australasia and South America. The business is looking to offer an entrepreneurial marine producer/leader a superb platform to build out the North American team.

Working hybrid from home or in the office, you will lead from the front as an integral part of the senior management team while executing growth strategies that leverage existing networks.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the North American marine business as part of the senior management team.

Execute growth strategies and exploit opportunities via existing networks.

Collaborate with global teams to align marine offerings across regions.

Provide leadership and direction to the North American marine team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Represent the business externally and build key stakeholder relationships.

Operate in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with in-person leadership where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Expertise across marine hull and machinery, marine liability, P&I, or fine art/specie.
• Ability or desire to build out a highly successful North American marine team.
