The Basics:

The Role:

As head of growth, you’ll lead and execute strategies to scale the business, drive customer acquisition and retention, and optimise every part of the online experience. You’ll own e-commerce, Amazon, marketing, and performance, working cross-functionally to deliver measurable growth and impact. Key focus areas include:

DTC growth strategy & Campaign management:

  • Develop and lead the overall direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategy to scale the online business and increase revenue
  • Build, test, and refine customer acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels, including paid social, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, email, and influencer partnerships
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel performance marketing campaigns, managing timelines, budgets, and performance metrics to maximise ROI
  • Own the end-to-end DTC funnel, from traffic generation and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to customer retention and loyalty.

E-commerce management:

  • Oversee e-commerce platform performance, ensuring an exceptional user experience and seamless customer journey.
  • Lead website optimisation initiatives to improve conversion rates, reduce bounce rates, and increase average order value (AOV).
  • Continuously optimise checkout processes, payment options, and site speed to enhance the overall user experience.

Customer retention and loyalty:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention, increase repeat purchases, and drive loyalty.
  • Own the CRM strategy, including email marketing campaigns, subscription models, customer service, and personalised communications.
  • Use data to understand customer behaviour and tailor communications to enhance customer lifetime value (CLTV).

Analytics and performance tracking:

  • Continuously analyse campaign performance, channel efficiency, and ROI.
  • Use a data-driven approach to testing, learning, and iterating to drive better outcomes.

Profitability and commercial performance:

  • Own the financial performance of the DTC channel, ensuring profitable growth.
  • Optimise customer acquisition costs (CAC) while improving customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Implement pricing, promotional, and margin management strategies.
  • Identify and execute cost‑saving opportunities across operations, fulfilment, and marketing without compromising the customer experience.

Amazon strategy and management:

  • Oversee the Amazon channel, managing marketing campaigns, optimising product listings, and enhancing discoverability.
  • Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and trade agreements.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic promotional calendar, balancing sales growth with long‑term profitability.
  • Use performance data to optimise Amazon’s role within the DTC ecosystem.

Cross-functionalb>

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure alignment across channels.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to support overall business goals while maintaining a focus on DTC growth.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience: 3+ years in DTC roles, ideally in fast-growing brands or digital marketing agencies; drinks or health/wellbeing sector experience is a plus.
  • E: Hands‑on experience managing online platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and optimising acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Marketing Savvy: Strong understanding of paid social, SEO/SEM, CRM, and influencer campaigns.
  • Analytical & Customer-Centric: Skilled in data interpretation, with a focus on customer experience and lifetime value.
  • Leadership: Self-starter who can execute strategy, lead a small team, and manage third‑party agencies.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
