Job description
Overview

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Redefine how an industry fights fraud - and turn protection into competitive advantage.

We’re looking for a visionary Head of Fraud Strategy to lead our Group-wide fraud prevention and detection agenda - a rare opportunity to build a world-class capability that protects customers, fuels growth, and strengthens business integrity across global markets. You’ll own the strategic direction for fraud management, harnessing data, AI, and real-time decisioning to deliver smarter, frictionless protection that drives both trust and profitability. Operating at the intersection of innovation, regulation, and commercial strategy, you’ll transform how fraud is managed - from a control function to a true growth enabler.

What you will be doing
  • Set the Group-wide fraud strategy and customer experience agenda, defining priorities that align with the Group's growth and profitability objectives.
  • Responsible for reducing the financial impact of fraud, ensuring measurable financial outcomes. Drive initiatives that reduce fraud-related losses, prevent revenue leakage, and deliver measurable improvements to profitability.
  • Collaborate with Finance and commercial leaders to model costs, forecast operational impact, and link efficiency gains directly to business performance.
  • Architect seamless, real-time fraud controls across onboarding, transactions, and monitoring, ensuring they enhance rather than constrain the customer lifecycle.
  • Drive adoption of automation, AI/ML decisioning, and scalable frameworks to lower cost-to-serve and enable faster market launches.
  • Partner with Managing Directors and Commercial leadership in each market to embed fraud prevention into growth strategies.
  • Act as the Group's senior representative with regulators and industry bodies, ensuring proactive and transparent engagement.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a fraud strategy team while fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, precision, and transformation readiness.
Who we are looking for

We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will:

  • Have an analytical mindset, with expertise in using data, modelling, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and reduce impact.
  • Be commercially minded - prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable EBITDA impact and growth.
