We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Financial Management.

You\'ll play a key part in shaping how we plan, manage and evolve our Global Technology workforce to meet business opportunities within UK Technology Finance & Workforce Management function of Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role you will:

  • Lead financial control, planning and reporting for UK Technology, including Financial Resource Plan (FRP) and target setting, target management, cost and charges analysis
  • Review recharge rate analysis and sign off charge rates. Analyse the impact of any changes to initial assumptions and continuous review of GBGF Direct Cost Rates to ensure any update to the charge rates is captured in quarterly review
  • Review UK Technology governed portfolio financial reporting e.g. review targets, supply commentary and analysis for portfolio level reporting
  • Provide ongoing financial planning and analysis to support UK Technology leadership
  • Organise and lead the Financial Management team effectively, driving high performance including regular training, mentoring and performance reviews
  • Manage Financial Ledgers processes, including calculation of accruals and prepayments and submission of journals
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of executive leadership in technology management roles within the financial services industry, preferably within multinational banks
  • Strong understanding of Technology operational management requirements for banks and knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
  • Ability to translate technology strategy and align and manage accountabilities accordingly
  • Deep financial and commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable experience in managing significant financial and resource plans, organizational transformation, and project portfolio management, with a track record of driving results in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Maintains expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence future direction
