Overview

About Our Client

The organisation is a well-established not-for-profit operating within the London area.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the Annual Accounts production and act as key contact to the Auditors and Governance Team.
  • Continuously drive improvements and actively contribute to the Finance Transformation to finance processes and systems (will also lead on the implementation of a new finance system when budget is assigned).
  • Act as lead, mentor and coach to the Financial Accounting Team and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Manage financial risks and improve internal controls through compliance to relevant governance
  • Provide a treasury function and act as key contact to our Bank and Investment Managers and provide periodic cash flow forecasts.
  • Support the construction and presentation of reports to the Investment Committee, Audit and Risk Committee and Strategic Finance and Assets Committee
The Successful Applicant
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting detailed financial reports.

Note: candidates will only be shortlisted if they have experience working in Not for Profit.
