Houlton School has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Head of Subject: Design Technology to join our successful school.
You will join a passionate team of teachers who are committed to delivering the curriculum in engaging and inspiring ways. You will be an excellent teacher who has the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support pupils to ensure that they make excellent progress.
As Head of Design Technology you will take on an important leadership role of the curriculum and wider Middle Leadership Team and will be responsible for ensuring the department is of a World Class standard.

Houlton School is a secondary free school that opened in September 2021; set within a combination of fully refurbished Grade II listed buildings as well as brand new, specialist teaching facilities.
You will join us just as we have welcomed our fifth cohort of pupils, teaching across Years 7‑11 in the first instance. Ultimately, we will have all seven year groups, including Sixth form.
