HEAD OF DEPARTMENT COMPUTING and DIRECTOR OF WHOLE SCHOOL IT

• Salary: Inner London Pay Scale, MPS/UPS (£38,766 to £60,092) + TLR 1C (£13,969)
• Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
• To Start: January 2026
• Location: Hollydale Rd, London, SE15 2EB, London Borough of Southwark

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the Computing department and contribute to whole school IT strategy.
  • Develop an outstanding Computing and ICT curriculum in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Line manage and support staff, foster professional development, and maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour.
  • Deliver outstanding lessons and support exceptional students, while contributing to school improvement objectives.
  • Contribute to the school’s expanding Sixth Form and drive continuous improvement across the school.
  • Take on additional whole school responsibilities tailored to the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
