Job summary

A reputable educational institution in Knowsley is seeking a Head of Faculty for Computer Science and IT to lead a small team starting January 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership, possess expert subject knowledge, and commit to safeguarding the welfare of students. Qualifications

Are you passionate about Computer Science and IT and have the ability to provide strong leadership and strategic direction to a small Computing Faculty?

We are seeking to appoint a creative, ambitious, talented and dynamic Head of Faculty for January 2026 to lead a small team of specialists. You should have leadership experience with a strong track record of improvement as well as being a strong classroom practitioner.

The successful candidate will have expert subject knowledge and must be able to teach all Key Stages, including GCSE and A Level. You will be a forward thinking, inspirational practitioner who has the drive and is suitably motivated and ready to share their expertise and experience with our inspiring, curious and remarkable students delivering outstanding lessons and supporting in the development of our curriculum and exciting co-curricular offer.

You will be joining a committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students who are keen to learn.
