Job description

Overview

The Head of Commercial will drive the College’s mission and financial sustainability through the creation and delivery of innovative programmes and commercial opportunities. The postholder will maximise the potential of the College’s estate at St Donat’s Castle to generate income, develop partnerships, and broaden impact, while safeguarding and wellbeing of students remain the highest priority. They will lead the Atlantic Experience commercial team, overseeing delivery of the Atlantic Experience commercial strategic plan, and report regularly to the Board of Directors of Atlantic College Enterprises Limited. They will be fundamental to achieving the College’s ambition to be seen as a sector leader in hosting and delivering key events, activities and programmes as well as having an international profile as a centre for excellence in experiential learning, training and education.

Responsibilities

• Drive the College’s mission and financial sustainability through innovative programmes and commercial opportunities.
• Maximise the potential of the 100 acre estate at St Donat’s Castle to generate income, develop partnerships, and broaden impact.
• Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing of students as the highest priority.
• Lead the Atlantic Experience commercial team and oversee delivery of the Atlantic Experience commercial strategic plan.
• Report regularly to the Board of Directors of Atlantic College Enterprises Limited.
• Support the College in achieving recognition as a sector leader in hosting and delivering events, activities, and programmes and in developing an international profile as a centre for excellence in experiential learning, training and education.
