Job Summary

In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

Responsibilities

This role has responsibility for leading two key areas of transformational change for SEATS GB.

  • Matrix alignment with all business transformation leaders to ensure integration and a cohesive transformational portfolio of projects is maintained
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality.
  • Ensure team members of transformational projects, though are not direct reports, receive timely and appropriate feedback, training and development in coordination with project managers.
  • Support the building of a network of staff engaged in initiatives at Company and BU levels to ensure visibility and alignment of SGB activities with Company
  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach involved in the main transformational projects
  • Leader of the CI Team
  • Management responsibilities for several Black Belt CI Leaders
