Qualifications

  • Experience working in a multi-outlet operation, ideally including a 2 Rosette (or similar) restaurant.
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys being on the pass.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a brigade of 12 chefs across multiple outlets.
  • Support menu development, ensuring dishes are seasonal and commercially viable.
  • Maintain and enhance 2 Rosette standards, delivering consistent quality.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a prestigious 4 Red Star hotel with a 2 Rosette restaurant and multiple dining outlets. They are now looking for a talented Head Chef to lead a brigade of 12 chefs and help drive the food offering across the hotel to the next level.

You will work closely with an Executive Chef who is passionate about quality, consistency, and seasonality, while having the autonomy to put your own stamp on menus and the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Head Chef…
  • £50,000 per annum
  • 45-hour contract
  • Leading a brigade of 12 chefs within a respected, luxury hotel

Responsibilities as the Head Chef…
  • Leading, motivating and developing a brigade of 12 chefs across multiple outlets
  • Supporting the Executive Chef with menu development, ensuring dishes are seasonal, balanced and commercially viable
  • Maintaining and further enhancing 2 Rosette standards, delivering consistent quality across all servicesTraining, coaching and mentoring the team to build skills, confidence and a positive kitchen culture
  • Working closely with the Executive Chef and senior management to deliver an exceptional guest experience in line with 4 Red Star expectations
You’ll be a great fit if you :
  • Have proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef within a quality hotel environment
  • Have worked in a multi-outlet operation, ideally including a 2 Rosette (or similar) restaurant
  • Are a hands‑on leader who enjoys being on the pass and leading by example
