A leading football club is seeking a Hardware Category Assistant to provide administrative support for product management. The role involves reviewing product designs and samples, ensuring they align with brand guidelines. Candidates should have strong communication skills and experience in branded merchandise. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our LFC Retail Product team as a Hardware Category Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you'll support the Senior Hardware Category Manager providing administrative support across a number of key areas as well as managing product and sample approval within our licensed product division.
To be successful in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail and an acute understanding of retail and licensed products. You will have experience in dealing with branded merchandise and packaging and be able to follow specific guidelines in order to protect the LFC brand.
Strong communication skills are a must for this role alongside the ability to provide accurate feedback and present information in a clear manner. This is a collaborative role, so you will have the ability to build strong working relationships with cross‑functional teams and with external licensees.
We work in a fast‑paced environment; therefore, you will need to be organised and adaptable, manage your time well, and have experience of juggling multiple approvals and projects at once. You will have strong administration skills and be comfortable in using all Microsoft Office packages.
This is a 6‑month fixed contract and your main base will be our Distribution Centre Office in Whiston, Liverpool as part of the product team. Please note, this vacancy may close early if we receive a high volume of applications, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
