A renewable energy company based in the UK seeks a Growth Ops Specialist who will manage tender intake and the tender-to-lock-in process. The successful candidate will drive process improvements using AI, coordinate daily tender validation, and ensure data quality across systems such as HubSpot and Gong. The role demands a strong attention to detail and a knack for automation, offering a competitive salary, stock options, and flexible working arrangements, including remote options.
We're rebuilding the energy transaction system, making it transparent and fair.
tem exists to put power back in the hands of people. Today’s wholesale energy market is stacked in favour of the few. It's a product of an age of oil and gas, riddled with markups and middlemen. We’re changing that.
Our product, RED™, built on a proprietary pricing engine that bypasses the wholesale market, enables businesses to buy the energy produced by renewable generators directly. That's 100% transparent transactions, ensuring affordable bills and fair compensation, to give every business ownership and control over where their energy comes from.
Since launching in 2021, we’ve saved UK businesses and generators over £20 million, powering a growing network of forward-thinking companies, from Pizza Pilgrims to Silverstone. Backed by top-tier VCs such as Atomico and Albion, we’re creating a new category in energy - one that’s local, decentralised, and built on trust.
We’re hiring a Growth Ops Specialist. Your job is to own the day-to-day coordination that makes tender intake and the tender-to-lock-in pipeline run smoothly, so deals progress on time and downstream Operations work stays clean and accurate.
This is a highly executional role with real impact. You will become the execution owner for tender intake, validation, and pipeline coordination, while staying AI-native and ready to flex across Operations when demand peaks. You will also own commercial tooling (HubSpot, Control Room, Gong) to keep systems aligned, automations running, and data reliable for Sales and Operations.
Operating model context: Growth Operations sits across Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and the broader Operations team to keep the tender-to-live journey moving. This role exists to close the capacity vs capability gap: dedicated high-accuracy admin execution plus an AI-native mindset to spot and drive quick wins.
You’ll sit in the Operations team and work closely with Growth Ops, Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and the wider Ops team.
Drive process improvements and automation: use AI and low code platforms to reduce manual work, and contribute to the automation roadmap.
Own tender intake and pipeline coordination: Manage daily tender validation, triage, and upload within SLA; coordinate the tender-to-lock-in flow ensuring clean handoffs.
Ensure data quality and integrity: Run validation checks, maintain data standards, keep accurate records, and prevent downstream errors.
Enable Sales: Keep partner status, pricing artefacts, and deal information current, communicate early on issues that affect deal progression, and unblock Sales and brokers so Partner Leads can stay focused on closing.
Flex across Operations: Flex across lock-ins, registration, and onboarding when demand peaks; help transition manual processes to automation.
Own and maintain Sales Operations systems: Manage HubSpot, Control Room, and Gong; maintain pipelines, workflows, and data integrity; build dashboards; ensure system sync and reliability.
Must-haves
AI-native mindset and execution: Actively use AI tools to automate repetitive work.
Low-code platform experience: Hands-on experience building and maintaining workflows, automations, and integration
Strong attention to detail and comfort owning high-accuracy admin work (validation, data hygiene, audit trails) in a high-volume environment.
CRM and commercial systems administration: Proven experience administering HubSpot (or similar CRM) and tools like Gong, including pipelines, custom properties, reporting dashboards, and system syncs.
Strong attention to detail with systems thinking: Comfortable owning high-accuracy data work while connecting multiple tools and maintaining integrity across systems.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with bias to action.
