A leading building society in the UK seeks a Senior Finance Systems Manager to lead and optimise their finance technology landscape. Are you passionate about shaping the future of finance systems? We’re looking for a Senior Finance Systems Manager to lead the way in managing and optimising our complex finance technology landscape as we transform how Finance operates.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our Finance Transformation journey. You’ll be responsible for oversight, optimisation, and active contribution to the development and operation of our finance technologies. This is a hybrid role combining oversight with hands‑on subject matter expertise, ensuring our platforms deliver stability, security, and efficiency while supporting business growth.

You will take ownership of our Finance ERP (Workday), Treasury Management System, and Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) tool, playing a key role in maintaining system integrity, security and efficiency whilst driving best practice in governance and performance. Working closely with Finance, IT, and wider business teams, you will ensure systems remain aligned to evolving business needs and compliant with industry standard.
But this isn’t just about BAU. We’re streamlining processes, reducing administrative overhead, and enabling straight-through data flows. You’ll collaborate with our Finance Systems Change Lead and suppliers to optimise systems, improve data quality, and embed automation.
