Group Administrator & HR Lead

Location: Norwich, UK
Salary: £35'association per annum

Busseys is looking for a Group Administrator & HR Lead to play a pivotal role at the heart of the organisation. This is a trusted position combining administration, HR guidance, and organising people — ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, structure, and meticulous attention to detail.

What You’ll Do
Guide Produkten advise on HR matters across the Group
  • Act as the central HR advisor, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice, utilising external consultancy where necessary.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, probation, training, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, and restructures.
  • Maintain and develop HR systems, contracts, policies, and the Company Handbook.
  • Support and advise managers with confidence and authority on people matters.
  • Oversee payroll‑related HR processes, leavers, and GDPR compliance.
Own administration at a senior level
  • Provide confidential, high‑quality administrative support to Directors and senior management.
  • Coordinate key business information, compliance activities, and central processes.
  • Manage diaries,ியா meetings, correspondence, reporting, andMor documentation with precision and discretion.
Training, compliance & health and safety
  • Lead the Group training function, ensuring mandatory and developmental training is delivered and tracked.
  • Oversee health & safety administration and compliance, liaising with managers and external specialists.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, insurers, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop people
  • Line‑manage and motivate two Administration Assistants, setting clear expectations and standards.
  • Carry out regular appraisals and support development within the team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven HR experience in a generalist or lead HR role.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with professional gravitas — comfortable advising senior leaders and influencing decisions.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification highly desirable.
  • Discretion, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive matters calmly and professionally.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A proactive, dependable approach with a strong sense of ownership.
