A leading housing provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Slough. This role involves maintaining external communal areas and may include soft landscaping and tree work. Ideal candidates will possess practical horticultural knowledge, a full driver's license, and a proactive attitude. Were responsible for the cyclical upkeep of the communal areas to our customers. This covers a large geographical area and our customers includes market rent shared ownership and independent living communities on many estates or the whole estate.
Were also responsible for the management of the trees and like to retain as many as possible or replant if any are removed. We believe that the trees play a big part in our communities by providing shade in the summer and promote a healthy wellbeing as well as offsetting our carbon footprint.
Were looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy team. You’ll be based in Slough covering Windsor Ascot Bracknell and surrounding areas.
Were looking for a proactive great team player and someone with a good eye for detail who’s looking for a new challenge.
Working within a team you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of the external communal areas grass shrubs and may also be required to undertake soft landscaping / minor tree work.
