We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of our friendly team.

To carry out routine and planned maintenance duties as directed by the Senior Grounds and Gardens Officer and EFM site senior team.
Works to include garden and grounds maintenance, ensuring litter bins are cleared and litter collected from around the site, path cleaning and minor maintenance to ground furniture, gridding and snow clearance, sweeping hospital grounds including all hospital carpark.
You will need to be polite, helpful, discreet and should be able to accommodate any reasonable request from management team.
To carry out planned and requisition maintenance requests to all grounds and gardens managed by Broomfield Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Maintain litter-free sites and ensure main entrances are litter-free, swept and power-washed when required, change outdoor bins daily.
Ensure all path, entrances, car parks and walkways are free of obstruction from trees, tree leaves, shrubs, weeds or plant material. Water all new planting, tubs and hanging baskets either seasonally or until plant maturity and weed kill and remove all weeds from the site.
Strim, mow and prune according to seasonal demands ensuring that all perimeter areas including fencing are litter free and in a good state of repair. Also report all defects to the Facilities Helpdesk so relevant trades can be arranged to repair/make-good.
