An educational institution in Portsmouth is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to deliver high-quality graphic work across digital and print platforms. The role involves managing projects from concept to final design while adhering to budget constraints. Hybrid working options are available, with three days required on-site each week. Candidates should have a keen eye for design and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
The Recruitment, Marketing and Communications Department offers a complete in-house service to promote the University to its various stakeholders. The Department’s services cover a wide range of marketing and communications disciplines, dealing with brand management, internal and external communications, marketing strategy, digital marketing and web strategy, press and public relations, recruitment, community outreach and market research and student recruitment.
The Creative Delivery team, within the Recruitment, Marketing and Communications department, leads all the copywriting / narrative development, design, publications and print management, digital and physical brand and marketing materials, and videography and photography for the University, across all faculties and professional services.
The role of the Graphic Designer is to produce the highest quality graphic expertise across a variety of different media platforms, in both digital and print. The role requires the ability to execute projects of all sizes, from concept delivery to final designs, at pace and to budget.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. Three days based on-site in the office (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and the other days at based at home.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 09 February 2026.
