Job description

Wessex Internet is a fast-growing, award-winning Internet Provider transforming full fibre broadband access across the South West. We design, build and manage our own cutting-edge FTTP network, bringing lightning-fast connectivity to rural homes and businesses that have long been underserved. As we continue to expand into the New Forest, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset, this is an exciting time to join our journey.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and experienced Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team on a 3-month contract, working 3 days per week.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a varied, hands-on role where you will support both the Marketing team and the wider business with a broad range of creative outputs. From paid media campaigns and digital marketing assets to video content, social media and direct mail, you will play a key role in bringing our brand and campaigns to life across multiple channels.

You will take pride in producing high-quality, on-brand creative work, while collaborating with colleagues across the business to support their design needs. You will also help improve ways of working, ensuring creative processes are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering high-quality print, digital and campaign assets across multiple channels.
  • Creating engaging video and animated content, including storyboarding, filming and editing for marketing and internal communications.
  • Producing creative assets to support paid media, digital marketing and social campaigns, including HTML5 display ads.
  • Ensuring all creative output is on brand and aligned with Wessex Internet's visual identity and tone of voice.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team and wider business to develop creative concepts and branded materials.
  • Managing multiple priorities effectively while contributing ideas, improvements and creative best practice.
Requirements
  • A highly creative, experienced designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital work, gained either in-house or within an agency.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience creating HTML5 animated display ads for platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
  • Strong photography, videography and video editing skills, with experience using After Effects and/or Premiere Pro.
  • A strong understanding of brand consistency and visual identity management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to proof and quality-check your own work.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-design stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards to ensure designs are inclusive and compliant.

If you are a creative, commercially minded designer who enjoys working across multiple formats and wants to make a tangible impact within a fast-growing, award-winning business, we would love to hear from you.
