Job description

Stepping into your future - ready to learn, grow, and do meaningful work that matters.

At IVCEvidensia you'll find a place where you can be yourself, supported by people who want to see you thrive. You'll get hands‑on experience, build your confidence, and discover just how far your passion can take you.

Unlock Your Passions at Inglis Vets:

Inglis Vets in Dunfermline is a 9‑site practice in Central Scotland with a 24‑hour hospital in Dunfermline. We cover out of hours for a couple of local practices, so offer good exposure to emergency work. You will have access to onsite parking and Inglis Vets is also a central location, with some sites near train stations and on bus routes but not all. All of our roles involve working at different sites, so a driving licence is therefore preferred.

Dedicated support will be given to you and the hospital and branches, with you initially settling into the clinic role before starting the Graduate Training. We often use our Cowdenbeath practice where we train RDSVS final year vet students for supervised surgical and consultation training.

We are a strong and supportive team of 30 vets and 30 nurses across our various sites, meaning that there is a friendly team of varying levels or experience on hand to help support you.

Practice facilities and equipment include in‑house blood machines, ultrasound, digital x‑ray and dental x‑ray. The hospital base offers 24‑hour care and facilities to hospitalise and work up medical cases. We also offer hydrotherapy, acupuncture and physiotherapy.

You will work 40 hours per week, as well as weekends on rotation (1 in 12 approximately) and duty night shifts on rotation (1 in 12 approximately) with generous stand‑down time.
