Our Graduate Development Programme is a structured two‑year scheme designed to support your development at the beginning of your Jacobs career journey. Through blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking, you will become competent across four key focus areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy, and your passions. You’ll customize your learning journey to reflect your specific interests, career goals and technical skillset, with a large portion of learning delivered on‑the‑job.
You will work on world‑class projects within our Tunnelling and Ground Engineering business. Reporting to a team lead in the Tunnels discipline, you will be a key resource on a range of internal and external projects, from pipejacks to complex underground caverns, employing empirical methods to 3D FE analyses. Work may involve structural and/or geotechnical tasks.
The successful person will join a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities. You will work as part of a diverse team of specialists, providing support and advice to the wider Jacobs business and clients, with opportunities for a broad range of responsibilities within the Tunnelling and Ground Engineering team.
The start date for this position is September 2026.
