Overview

Our client is an independent transport planning and highway design consultancy based in Central London and specialising in development planning work across the UK, providing advice throughout all stages of the development planning process, from initial feasibility studies to successfully securing planning permission, the discharge of planning conditions and detailed highway design.

They now require a GRADUATE TRANSPORT PLANNER to work from prestigious Central LONDON OFFICES.

Role and Responsibilities
  • The Production of detailed transport assessments.
  • Development of access strategies for all modes.
  • General knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
  • The analysis of development effects on road and junction capacity.
  • Preparation of concise, well-written reports.
  • Management of small projects.
  • Attendance at technical meetings with clients, teams and public authorities.
  • Stakeholder and public engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant degree, ideally in Geography or Transport Planning.
  • Good writing and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Proficiency in some or all of LINSIG, ARCADY, OSCADY, TRANSYT, PICADY, GIS, Autodesk and Microsoft Office (preferred).
