Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities and generate profitable business across the company's aviation portfolio.
  • Prepare competitive quotations, manage catalogue and non-catalogue items, liaise with suppliers, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for both ad-hoc and long-term contracts.
  • Collaborate with senior management on proposals and strategic initiatives.
  • Support contract preparation, proposals, and coordinate internal teams to meet commitments.
  • Participate in customer visits and support lead generation and reporting.

About the Role

Swift Temps is recruiting on behalf of their client, a global leader in aviation supply chain solutions, for a Graduate Trainee to join their Sales & Business Development management team. This graduate role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong attitude, keen to learn, and interested in building a career in aviation sales. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify sales opportunities and generate profitable business across the companys aviation portfolio.
  • Prepare competitive quotations, manage catalogue and non-catalogue items, liaise with suppliers, and close sales in line with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for both ad-hoc and long-term contracts.
  • Collaborate with senior management on proposals, major agreements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support contract preparation, agreements, proposals, and coordinate internal teams (Finance, Operations) to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Participate in customer visits and support lead generation, pipeline building, forecasts, and reporting.
