Overview

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic Graduate Teaching Assistants.

This opportunity would be extremely beneficial for somebody looking to gain valuable experience in a primary school before beginning your teacher training.

We have a number of fantastic opportunities that have come up in one of our highly regarded schools in the Clifton area. This is an innovative school which boasts excellent approaches to learning and has a proven track record for successful students. It is set in a wonderful location close to local amenities and fantastic transportation links. There are a number of opportunities in both Key stage 1 and Key stage 2.

Responsibilities
  • To work alongside the class teacher to help deliver an effective and diverse educational experience.
  • To lead small or individual learner sessions outside of the classroom to boost the pupils learning when necessary.
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, and report any concerns to the relevant person.
  • Administrative duties, you will be required to prepare classroom resources etc.
  • To assist with lesson planning and delivery when needed.
  • Create artistic displays of the pupils work.
Desirable qualities
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • A respect and fondness for children.
  • The ability to inspire.
  • You must hold an enhanced DBS - Teaching Personnel can assist with this

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
